Instructs lecture and lab classes in the Culinary Arts Program.

A minimum of 3 years work experience in the culinary industry.
Associate's degree in culinary arts or hospitality with an emphasis on culinary arts. Appropriate certification or ability to be certified by the American Culinary Federation or other appropriate culinary accrediting agencies.
Demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process and proven commitment to student success.
Collegial attitude with college community as well as outside entities.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments.
Excellent computer and multi-media skills.
This position requires moderate physical exertion such as long periods of standing and repetively lifting lightweight objects with frequent bending or stooping.
Preferred: Previous successful experience teaching in the are of culinary arts at the university or community college level; however professional experience may be held as equivalent.
Preferred: Experience in tracking student learning outcomes, analyzing resultant data, and implementing improvement plans.
This position requires original transcripts and three professional references. This position is considered a security sensitive position and will require a criminal background check.
