  • Overview

    Provides customer service to fitness center patrons and assists with maintaining orderliness of gym.

    Responsibilities

    • 40%  Signs users into the center.
    • 40%  Maintains orderliness of weights making sure weights are in correct spots.
    • 10%  Cleans and sweeps the fitness center.
    • 5%    Washes towels and check out towels.
    • 5%    Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

    2. Complies with all laws and regulations related to higher education.
    3. Provides a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere to both internal and external customers.
    4. Arrives to work on time as scheduled.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • No previous work experience required.
    • Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
    • Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (students, faculty and staff) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
    • Good communication skills, organization, basic computer skills and knowledge, and ability to provide excellent customer services.
